Students’ social-emotional needs were very high during the last school year. As students head back to school, many may need accommodations for anxiety or other mental health concerns. Here is a helpful list of accommodations for anxiety from Understood. Anxiety and other mental health conditions may qualify students for special education services under an IEP or for supports under a 504 plan. If parents believe their child’s current IEP or 504 plan needs updating to add accommodations, or for any other reason, they can request a meeting at any time.
