Does Your Child’s School District Provide Access to Instruction during a Quarantine?

Sep 26, 2021 | Covid-19

Across the country, school districts are using a variety of tools, such as live-streaming classes, online tutoring, and regular check-ins, so quarantined students can keep up with their classwork from home. Students with disabilities may require additional support to access their instruction.
Waukegan School District’s Quarantine Support Plan provides daily live streamed lessons plus access to a tutor twice a week. In Fairfax Public Schools’ StreamIN/CheckIN program, schools will provide students with live streamed or recorded lessons, and interactive check-ins with their teachers. Santa Fe is offering online tutoring to students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
