Managing Social-Emotional and Behavioral Challenges Upon Return to School

We have heard a lot about academic learning loss/unfinished learning. But students with disabilities may also have increased social-emotional or behavioral challenges upon returning to school buildings after an extended period of time at home. Schools should be ready to screen students and convene IEP meetings to provide the supports they need. Parents can also request an IEP meeting if they have concerns.
